Frank J. Pinto Jr., MD, board certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Pinto is a native of Fairfield County. He grew up in Easton and graduated from Fairfield Prep. He earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University, where he received a bachelor's degree in Biology, magna cum laude. He earned his doctorate, cum laude, from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed an internship in surgery at Naval Hospital San Diego. He then spent the next three years at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut, serving as an undersea medical officer. Dr. Pinto removed a skin cancer from my mother's face. She has fairly severe Alzheimer's (almost non verbal, has difficulty understanding basic instructions, mobility issues), and his interactions with her were professional and careful. She has a second spot that needs treatment, but rather than have mom return three more times, once to remove stitches, a second time for the second procedure, and a third for stitches removal, Dr Pinto determined he could remove stitches and perform the second procedure at the same time. I feel he really understood the best way to handle Mom's case.

Very knowledgeable and efficient. He identified the cause of a minor but extremely irritating issue no other dr had been able to fix in over 25 years. Not a big deal to him, life changer for me!
